A new sermon series, “Pilgrim or Tourist” guides our Lenten journey as we contemplate who we are on the journey: pilgrims or tourists? Tourists are those who go on a journey and come home fundamentally unchanged, pilgrims are those who go on a journey and come home with a changed and transformed soul. Each week of Lent we will be looking at the journey as reflected in biblical characters and situations through the eyes of pilgrims or tourists.
